A quiet Sunday here in South Bend. After church, David went to a basketball game. Lisa and the boys slept.

Check out this article. I’m thinking our boys will test high for ultimate frisbee.

We enjoyed staying home for Thanksgiving this year. After traveling so much this fall, it was nice to have people come to us this time. All of David’s immediate family was able to spend the day with us on Thursday. As has become our tradition, instead of making a big meal ourselves, we went to Notre Dame’s fabulous brunch. Here are some photos from the day:

Benjamin and Micah really enjoyed each other’s company. Micah even shared his special blanket with Ben.

We’re busy grading papers, writing papers, shopping for groceries, getting ready for family to arrive tonight, and tending to injured children on this day off from school. We seem to have at least one injury at any given time during the day. Here’s Jonathan recovering from something.

Sorry for the long absence, but we got busy . . . preparing a Bible study . . . giving a lecture on drug culture in the 1960s . . . dirty diapers . . . analyzing creationist textbooks . . . religious documentary night with Peter and Angela . . . laundry and grocery shopping . . . and life in general intervened.

We had a great time in Huntington. Here’s Alena holding Ben.

Here’s Jonathan watching all the snow we got recently.

We leave today for our fifth (and last) football rental of the fall. We’re looking forward to spending time with Kevin and Lydia Miller and their kids in Huntington, Ind. Should be fun–the kids get to play in the snow and swim at the Y.
