Here are a couple of fun links to cap off one of the most intriguing convention weeks in memory:

Andrew and Jonathan began speech therapy last December after our family doctor expressed concern that they were not talking. Last week they had their last session with Wendy, their beloved speech therapist. She was a close fourth (behind Grandma Sharon, Grandma Phyllis, Rosa, and Nico) of people they beg to play with. In her last evaluation she told us they’re doing “well beyond just fine” and that their vocabulary is near 400 words. We’re very thankful for her help and relieved (most of the time–sometimes we wish they’d stop!) that our boys can talk.

For most historians this would be the pot calling the kettle black. But she really is a natty dresser.

It’s 3:01 p.m. on a Monday afternoon. David is busy working on lesson plans for his class that starts on Wednesday. Lisa is busily finishing her papers (granted a maternity extension) from last spring and ordering books for her class. Andrew and Jonathan are taking naps upstairs. Benjamin is sleeping in his swing.

Ben still gets swaddled, although he likes it much less than Andrew and Jonathan.

His new talent is to stick out his tongue.
