Just got an amusing email from our graduate student representatives:
“On Thursday, November 8 from 9 PM to 10 PM in the Notre Dame Room of the
LaFortune Center, the GSU will be sponsoring a “Whine and Cheese Night”.
The GSU officers will be present to listen to students’ questions and
concerns. So – you bring the whine, and we’ll supply the cheese! There will
be snacks and warm fall beverages to enjoy courtesy of the GSU. If you do
not have any complaints, feel free to come enjoy a study break with other
graduate students.”
Here are the boys playing with their new truck:
And . . . we found out whether we’re having a boy, a girl, or an alien at our ultrasound this morning. But you’ll just have to wait until we call some of our family.

Today we begin a (hopefully not-too-regular) feature called “Wound of the Day.”
Here’s Jonathan after throwing his head at Grandpa Steve’s wristwatch. Can you see the little red dot on his forehead?

Today is the last day of Fall Break. Too bad–it’s been fun.
Check out this fascinating blog entry from Greg Boyd about a trip he took to Hesston College.
Below is a picture so unusual–they’re actually sitting still–that it’s worth posting:

I’m trying to come up with a list of evangelistic programs/methods popular in evangelical circles in the last 50 years or so. Evangelism Explosion, Evangelism Unlimited . . . What else can you think of?
