March 2007

  • Lisa took a big statistics exam yesterday and turned in a paper.
  • The boys had their one-year check-ups yesterday. They got a clean bill of health. Andrew weighs 5 ounces more than Jonathan, but only because he drank 5 ounces of water in the waiting room. They’re in the 15th percentile in weight and 85 percentile in height.
  • They’re both walking around everywhere.

The windows are open. A warm breeze is coming in as the boys take a nap. Spring is really nice.

The Orange County Government Center in Goshen, NY, designed by Paul Rudolph, a Yale architect. A county official says that the building has 87 roofs, and that all of them leak.

  • Andrew has learned to walk!
  • This morning without warning Jonathan jabbed his finger way up Lisa’s nose. He kept staring and wiping his finger across her face; she couldn’t figure out why he was so fascinated (beyond her writhing in pain). Until she realized there was blood all over the place.
  • Our church small group has been really, really nice to us. They know we’re having a had time right now, and a number of them have brought meals to us.
  • Today I’m turning in chapter #3. It’s hard to believe how full of crap I am, even after a year of research.
  • Apparently there’s a new book out that encourages young women to “have date nights with Jesus.” Here’s a quote from the book: “Although God certainly loves us even with unshaven legs, no makeup, and a bed-head hairdo, he also deserves to occasionally have his princess sitting athis feet while she is looking and feeling her best.”
